Meet Saint Nicolas – A Big Softie Looking for His Forever Home in the Netherlands.
Saint Nicolas was found wandering the streets of Bahrain on a cold, rainy night just before Christmas 2025, which is how he got his festive name. He appeared at the gate of his rescuer's home, and it was immediately clear that he had once belonged to someone. This handsome long-haired boy was underweight, suffering from a respiratory infection, dirty, and his beautiful coat was badly neglected. He looked heartbroken, as though he had been abandoned and left to fend for himself in the cold and rain.
Thankfully, Saint Nicolas was given a second chance. Today, he is healthy, thriving, and has regained both his confidence and his love for life.
