Patates is a sweet and gentle girl who was rescued from a shelter in Turkey where the conditions were extremely difficult. She was rescued together with another dog, and while her friend soon found a wonderful home in the Netherlands, Patates had to wait much longer for her chance.
We don’t know everything she experienced before she was rescued, but we do know that life wasn’t always kind to her. Because of her past, Patates can be shy and cautious, especially in unfamiliar situations or around things she doesn’t yet understand.
This can also show during walks. When she is somewhere new or encounters an unfamiliar environment, she may initially feel a little unsure and need some time to take everything in. She does best when she is allowed to explore at her own pace, with someone calm...

Toelichting
Patates travelled to the Netherlands after 4 months of procedures. Her vaccinations are done and she has a valid passport and travel titration test. We ask for an adoption contribution of 500 euros to help us continue the work in rescueing and rehabilitating more dogs and cats in Turkey although the actual costs of procedures to rehome dogs from Turkey are higher. Stichting Verhuisdieren is aware of these higher adoption costs and has given permission due to high costs for Turkish animals.
